Architectural Project Manager
Justin is a graduate of University of Ulster and built up extensive experience prior to joining Downey Planning in 2013. This work has included responsibility as Project Architect / Designer for a number of one-off house designs, residential developments, mixed use commercial & retail units, restaurants, pubs, banks and hotels in Ireland. Justin has previously worked with some of the larger Architectural firms in Dublin, including RKD, Lewis & Hickey, HKR, and KSA planning consultants.
He set up his own company (Halpin Architecture) in 2010 where he continued his success in the industry. Most notably in 2011 the nomination for ‘Best Public Building’ at the LAMA awards for his change of use & internal fit out, of the former NIB bank Balbriggan to Funeral Directors.
Since joining Downey Planning, Justin has assumed responsibility for architectural design, tender preparation, construction management, land registry/title mapping, fire safety certificates and disability access certificates. Justin is also a qualified BER assessor and is available to advise on all aspects of energy efficiency.
